Nickel chrome 60/15 is commonly used as a heat treatment wire.
60/15 nickel chromium alloy is often used for wrought and cast parts for high temperature applications, as it has better oxidation and hot corrosion resistance compared to cheaper iron-nickel-chromium alloys. This nickel chromium alloy is highly suited to applications that are subject to oxidation.
Ni60 is also widely used for its electrical heating elements so is suitable for applications that require resistance to oxidation such as vaping.
Flat wire is made by taking some of The Crazy Wire Company’s round wire and flattening it into the desired size. Our flat wire quality is absolutely unbeatable.
