Hard Finish NI200 Wire

We have been asked to produce a batch of this wire in both soft and hard finishes. This is so that vapers can have the option to see which works best for them.

To achieve the harder finish these wires are what is known as hard drawn. Please contact us if you require some info on this process. But basically this is a metalworking process which uses tensile forces to stretch metal. As the metal is drawn (pulled), it stretches thinner, into a desired shape and thickness. This is ideal for wires that are required to be more springlike.

We have only ever previously offered the soft form of NI200. This has always proven to be extremely popular with our customers. Give the soft version a try to see which works best for you.

Common Application(s):

NI200 is commonly used as a heat treatment wire.

In modern times it has found popularity in the vaping industry due to it's high heat resistance. It is used for the DNA40 model of rebuildable atomizer.
