Nickel chrome 80/20 is commonly used as a heat treatment wire.

In modern times it has found popularity in the vaping industry due to it's high heat and electrical resistance.

80/20 nickel chromium alloy is often used for wrought and cast parts for high temperature applications, as it has better oxidation and hot corrosion resistance compared to cheaper iron-nickel-chromium alloys. This nickel chromium alloy is highly suited to applications that are subject to oxidation.

Fine Wire Disclaimer

We produce all of our wires spools in house. We take extra care when making the fine wire due to how delicate it is.

Our machines are set to be extra gentle when spooling this wire, and our packing team ensure that only spools that pass our quality control checks are sent out.

Please make sure that when using this item you take extra care to ensure that it doesn't snag or tangle.

This wire is extremely fine and it is easy for it to be damaged if not handled carefully.

We also recommend that you either use a Crazy Wire Company Wire Tamer or make a small hole in the top of your spool to thread the wire through when finished.
